The Polish Potato Federation is honored to host the 1st Three Seas Potato Congress in Poland. The picturesque city of Gdańsk, located on the Baltic Sea, will be the host city for the prestigious Three Seas Potato Congress. This global event, which will take place in late June 2026, will shine a light on the thriving potato industry in Poland and the surrounding potato-growing regions.

The Polish Potato Federation is a non-profit organization that promotes and advances the interests of the Polish potato industry. Representing growers, processors, researchers and other interested parties, the Federation works to increase the competitiveness, sustainability and resilience of the potato sector in Poland and beyond.

Gdańsk and its surroundings boast a rich agricultural heritage and a favorable climate for growing potatoes. The region’s sandy soils, maritime influences and moderate temperatures create optimal conditions for producing high-quality potatoes valued for their taste, texture and versatility.
“We are excited to host the first Three Seas Potato Congress in Gdańsk, a city known for its history, culture and dynamic potato industry,” said Tomasz Bieńkowski, President of the Polish Potato Federation. “Gdańsk and its surroundings are home to some of the most productive and innovative potato producers in Poland and we are honored to showcase their achievements to a global audience.” Participants will have the opportunity to explore the Pomeranian potato-growing areas first-hand during field trips, farm visits and interactive workshops led by local experts. The Polish Potato Federation cordially invites all potato industry stakeholders to join us in Gdańsk for the 1st Three Seas Potato Congress 2026.
